Computacenter plc announces that on 1 July 2002, it purchased for cancellation
175,000 ordinary shares of Computacenter plc, representing 0.09% of
Computacenter's issued share capital, at an average price of approximately
278.98p per ordinary share. The highest price paid was 281.78p and the lowest
price was 277.14p per ordinary share. Upon the cancellation of these shares, the
number of Computacenter shares in issue will be 186,431,798.
